A: Our cocktail program is built around the spirits we make in-house. You'll find them at the base of most of what we pour.
A: As a craft distillery, our lounge is restricted in how much alcohol we can bring in from other sources. Because of this, we're not able to reliably secure beer and wine.
A: We have a full kitchen alongside the bar. Our food menu is designed not only to complement the cocktail program, but to be the kind of thing worth sitting down for.
A: As much as possible, we've laid out any allergen or dietary considerations for our food and drinks menus. When you arrive or call ahead, let your server know what you're working around and we'll point you toward the right options.
A: We absolutely do. In designing our drink menu, we wanted to make sure that those opting out didn't feel left out. Each of our designed mocktails stands on their own two feet. If you feel like something a bit different, ask our staff about making a mocktail to your tastes.
A: We love sharing the process. Reach out ahead of your visit to ask about the possibility to peek behind the curtain; as a working distillery in a fairly small space, we do our best to accommodate sneak peeks when operations allow.
A: Our core lineup includes vodka, gins, and liqueurs, all produced on-site. We also have a whisky program on the go!
A: Our cocktail lounge has a tasting flight (3 x 0.5oz) available for folks that would like to sample our products.
A: We are really proud to partner with Schutter Farms in the Windermere, BC area for white wheat. We also receive malted barley from the Armstrong, BC area.
A: We run a stillage-to-farmers program — the spent grain from our distillation process goes back to local farms rather than the waste stream. It's one of the ways we try to close the loop on what we produce.
A: We do! Stolen Bell is a craft distillery, which means that we receive BC grain, mash and ferment on-site, distill, and bottle all in the back.
A: Stolen Bell is a 19+ environment. We made a deliberate decision to design the space and experience for adults of all ages, and we think that's worth protecting.
A: Not at this moment. We know that your dog is well-behaved, but we're still trying to figure out a policy that can ensure we're not managing conflict between pups or their owners.
A: There is limited on-street parking available. Luckily, Golden is an easy town to get around, and we're accessible whether you arriving from the highway or from within town.
A: Absolutely. Whether it's a birthday, a corporate gathering, or a celebration of any kind, our space works well for groups. Reach out ahead of time to discuss what you have in mind and we'll help make it work.
A: We're located in Golden, BC at the confluence of the Kicking Horse and Columbia Rivers. Every spring and fall we try to give our staff some time to relax with an extended closure, but we're always sure to let folks know in advance. Check our Instagram, website or give us a call if you want to double check our hours.
